The sounds of reggae and R&B is always a great match and Mahalia just did it! The song if about love and how it take time to be in love and be happy. Let's take our time so let's just simmer this heat. I love the concept. She's pretty and a stunning look and voice. She sampled the great record from Beanie Man's Sim Simmer record from the 2000s when Beanie Man was king of the dancehall. However, Mahalia made her own way with this sample and I am not mad at what she does to this sample. I think this is going to be the next summer jam. I don't know who she is, but she's now on my radar. This song is fire. Mahalia's debut album, 'Love and Compromise', is set for release 6 September. Tell us what you think below!
