Annabelle 3 trailer is out and Due for Release August 11!
Just looking at the cover of this film looks scary AF! Gary Dauberman is the writer and this time around he is also the director of this Annabelle series franchise. The third installment of this series, however, this will be the 8th movie in this universe. The Conjuring is the beginning of this enormous franchise that began in July 2013 and every 3 years from then the franchise has released a sequel.
However, in between all "The Conjuring" movies, Annabelle was release a year after each The Conjuring movie was released. I remember watching the first film and it scared the hell out of me. I was really into horror movies back then too. I knew that Annabelle was connected to the franchise, but what I didn't know and I'm sure most true fans know that "The Nun" was also part of the universe, but also "The Curse of La Llorona", which is a film I have yet to see, but when I saw that trailer, it was a movie that I actually wanted to come back to watching horror movies again.
Here is the synopsis of this third installment:
Determined to keep Annabelle from wreaking more havoc, demonologists Ed and Lorraine Warren bring the possessed doll to the locked artifacts room in their home, placing her "safely" behind sacred glass and enlisting a priest's holy blessing. But an unholy night of horror awaits as Annabelle awakens the evil spirits in the room, who all set their sights on a new target -- the Warrens' ten-year-old daughter, Judy, and her friends.
