FAST COLOR Official Trailer (2019) Gugu Mbatha-Raw

Sci fi is one of this blog main niche. I enjoy all sorts of sci fi films and television from the Twilight Zone all the way to today's Netflix original Black Mirror. Well, ladies and gentlemen, we have something in the horizon in the sci-fi film community that's coming out this year. It looks amazing and the story line, according to the trailer is seems like it's going to be good. The world seems to be ending and the only way to save the planet is with these people with special powers.
A woman, who is on the run and what seems like running from something or to something, while trying to survive in this post apocalyptic world she is now forced to live in. The film in itself seems very dark and loomy. However, that may not be a bad thing because of today's political climate these days, loomy days don't seem so far away. This woman (main character) seems like she is a complex individual and we'll be seeing many layers of her character in this story.
The young girl seems like she is in a protected community that knows who she is and what she is there for. I'm just speculating about what this film is about, I'm not sure if what I'm saying is even correct. But it does look like it's going to be in interesting film that should be releasing sometime this year.
Here is the synopsis of the film:

Fast Color is the story of a woman named Ruth (Mbatha-Raw) who is forced to go on the run when her superhuman abilities are discovered. Now, years after having abandoned her family, the only place she has left to hide is home.

The film was co-written by Hart and Jordan Horowitz. The cast includes Lorraine Toussaint (Middle of Nowhere) as Bo, Saniyya Sidney (Fences) as Ruth’s daughter Lila, Christopher Denham (Argo) as Bill and David Strathairn (Temple Grandin) as Ellis.
