James Gunn is well known for his directorial run with the franchise Transformers. Also with a slew of other films that he's done, I'm confident this might be one to put on the to do list for the Must-Go-To-Movie-Before-It-Leaves-The-Theater list. Well, I think we came across one of those types of films. This trailer is awesome when it comes to the Sci-fi things of it.
OK, so this kid comes down from the sky, like some comet hitting the earth and boom, there he is, a new born baby looking for a family to take care of me. Yea, I may have exponential powers that no human on earth can fathom. Well, guess what, this ain't Superman! It's something else and it's dark. I think James Gunn is giving us something we never new we wanted. Comic book film era has had is glory days and I believe we might be seeing the tale end of the "Batman's", "Spiderman" type of stories anymore. I think the audience is ready for a new story that may have some inspiration from the comics, but is made to be original as for the the plot of the characters and main focus of the story line.
Apparently James Gunn is listed as the Producer and Co-writer of this movie coming out, but there is no synopsis to this movie. It says, "Plot to be determined", which is sort or odd, however, its not due to come out until next year and dated for May 24, 2019. The genre of this film is listed as a Horror film. So just imagine if Superman came down to earth and instead of Clark Kent, we get Michael Myers. Yes people, this is going to be on some next level stuff and I'm so excited to get involved. The trailer is awesome and I hope the second trailer give us even more.
