I am a huge fan of the CW DC comic universe. I look forward to all the new seasons of the series for Arrow, Flash, Supergirl, Legends for Tomorrow and now Black Lighting is up for it's second season. Already premiered it season opening last night and is getting rave reviews. I enjoyed the first season, it was one of the first times black people were able to look forward to a hero on television that resembled themselves. The show was authentic when it came to the black struggle with gun violence and gang activity that continue to plaque the black community. They did a great job representing what we as a community deal with on a daily basis, whether it is directly or indirectly. We should champion this show and make sure to keep it's ratings high. I'm ready for the new season and hope you can join me, as we enjoy the biggest comic adaptation of the comic book Black Lighting!
